Hand-made paper with lino print. Title ‘Liefde’
Making paper is yet another time consuming practice. In earlier experimentations I would make 3D paintings on papier-maché sculpted into large constructions. The newer works are of small size and made mostly with the aim to print on them.
This project ‘Greek language text book’ recycles a learning book into pieces of paper that keep here and there letters of the Greek alphabet.
On the first batch, I printed the design ‘λιφντε’ (liefde) in red.
Four of these prints were exhibited in the exhibition PAPER in Athens (May 2023)
