The series of works titled ‘λιφντε / liefde’ consists of sheets of handmade paper made from Greek language learning books meant for Greek or half-Greek children living abroad. Here and there fragments of letters or words remain visible on the created paper. On each sheet is printed the word ‘liefde’, which means love in Dutch. The word is designed with Greek characters and printed using the linoleum engraving technique.
The paper and the lino printing work was done by hand in the atelier.
The artworks are presented on black background in frames with glass, 40 x 40 cm each.
