The Earth photographed by a walking painter
City walker from early childhood to nature walker in recent years; I’ve been doing long solitary walks in the dutch province of Zeeland for the last few years with simple goals; to walk from village to village, 8 km, 10 km; then further, as far as I can get. The nature is not wild, yet to a city person like me it has plenty to tell.

2025
The works on linen prepared with transparent gesso continue with this series of paintings that delves into the theme of the place that contains us. After having cleared our internal landscape, we are ready to allow the environment to flow into when that’s a place of acceptance and happiness that we can hold on to. The works are painted with acrylics; titanium white, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, and a golden hue.
